******WE CAN NOW ACCEPT CATTLE FROM TB RESTRICTED HERDS INTO RED MARKETS (SLAUGHTER ONLY)
If your herd is currently under
TB restriction, ie Herds that have had a TB breakdown, this will mean that you can bring finished
stock into us
on our Red (slaughter only) markets to be sold by live auction to any of our buyers. The animals
being presented for sale must have had a negative TB test in the
previous 60 days. And in order for you to bring your stock here you
will need to obtain a licence (TB24B) from your local Defra Animal
Health Office. This may take a few days
to process so please ensure that you contact them a week before you
plan to bring any stock. We will also need prior notification that your
animals are coming to us so that we can sort out the relevant paperwork
at our end.
